Kids Savings Account

Learning about money management can be challenging, especially for young children. Our Kids Savings Account encourages kids to make deposits and save their money. Kids can learn savings and financial management skills while earning great prizes and interest on deposits. Any child between the ages of 0 through 14 is eligible (Social Security Card Required). When your child signs up for a Kids Savings Account with a minimum deposit of $10.00, they will receive an RGVCU piggy bank. Members then have up to 6 months to bring their savings account balance to our required $25 daily minimum. Each time they come in to make a deposit they will receive a sticker. And when they have deposited a total of $10.00 in a month, they will get to choose a prize.  It's never too early for your child to learn money skills they will use their whole life.
