Savings

A minimum deposit of $25.00 plus a processing fee of $5.00 allows YOU to become a member of RGVCU. If you set up some type of direct deposit, you can start your Savings account with $5.00 and you will have six months to bring the balance to the required $25.00. There's no monthly service charge on your savings account. An average daily balance of $100.00 or more is all that is necessary to earn interest. All interest is credited quarterly. Once you have a savings account with a balance of at least $25.00, you are considered a member and are eligible to apply for any of the services we offer. You must maintain a minimum $25.00 balance in your savings account at all times to keep your membership status. There is a limit of six preauthorized, automatic or telephone transfers per month from any savings account to another savings, club or checking account.
